Fun & friendly staff, especially our guide, Craig, who was very knowledgeable, funny, and went out of his way to make our float special. The float experience was enjoyable and had spectacular views that you can’t get on land, in particular of The Three Sisters. We even went over a .5 rapid 😉!

Great time on the float. Tor was a great guide. We did the 2hr evening float no wild life but still a good time.

DON'T BOOK THIS IN ADVANCE! We were there in July and there were plenty of openings on short notice when you could have some confidence in the weather. They have a rain or shine , no cancellation policy. They are very manipulative when the weather is bad. Here's why I say this. We booked a private Townie Tour. We were supposed to arrive for the tour at 11:45. At 10:30, it was very cold and pouring rain with little indication in the forecast that it would change. I called and asked if we could reschedule. (I had checked their schedule and they had MANY MANY openings over the next few days.) I was told absolutely NO. Their policy was no cancellations, rain or shine. "Because the weather might clear." Then, thirty minutes before we were supposed to arrive, I RECEIVED a call asking if we were planning on showing up for our tour. I said we were waiting to see if the "weather cleared". THEN, I was told that THEY might cancel. THEN, I was told that I would only get a refund if we showed up at the dock. We showed up in the pouring rain. They canceled. They offered to reschedule. I declined and asked for a refund because I felt that their behavior had been extraordinarily inconsiderate and I really didn't want to deal with them anymore. They clearly hoped we would cancel, lose our money and they would still get paid. We would have spent our morning very differently if they had just rescheduled when we first called. And we had all been very excited to go on the raft trip! They have no respect for their customers. If you decide to book with them, certainly don't make the mistake of booking it in advance!

Our tour guide, Tor, not only had amazing knowledge of the area, he took the time to row us into quiet estuaries and other interesting spots. His real talent came to life when we came across a couple who tipped out of their canoe and was rescued by Tor who went on to collect most of their gear. At all times he kept our tour group top priority and safe! Such an amazing guide, and a great company.

We had a fantastic time with Canmore Raft Tours! Our 4pm tour in July was beautiful — calm water, amazing views, and perfect weather. Our guide Craig was excellent — super knowledgeable and friendly, and really added to the experience. The tour ran right on time and was very well organized. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience and a must do activity for any trip to Canmore. The scenic views were incredible and Ben and Ellie were fantastic guides. We have pictures and memories that will last a lifetime and learned some cool facts about the area. This was our kickoff activity on our vacation and could not have possibly started any better.
